Our high-performance document scanners and OMR scanners are used where large volumes of documents need to be digitally archived, evaluated by defined criteria and sorted accordingly. Our out-of-the-box solutions of the InoTec SCAMAX® family can be found here.
The images are thereby prepared by means of CCD or CIS line cameras and integrated image processing boards (IPB).
The images are interpreted directly in the IPB, which is a great advantage especially for time-critical interpretation processes.
In addition to a high throughput of up to 360 documents per minute, automatic document feeding from the stack, and scanning of document front and back in a single pass, our high-volume scanners feature document output to sorting trays.
DATAWIN high-performance scanners also process folded documents as well as documents of different sizes and thicknesses in the same run.

Our HEMERA series document scanners and separators are powerful solutions for a wide range of applications, especially in election services, archiving and optical mark reading. With numerous optional features and enhancements, they can be easily upgraded for rare and highly specialized requirement profiles. If that is not enough, they become the basis for completely independent new developments, which we either develop and manufacture exclusively for you, or incorporate into our product portfolio after consultation.
HEMERA C
Mid-volume document scanner with two sorting trays
This compact and flexible OMR scanner is a true all-rounder and masters elections and votes just as quickly and reliably as multiple choice applications. As the little brother of the high-volume scanner HEMERA S, it offers an optimized price/performance ratio for applications in the medium to high performance range.
The HEMERA C processes and sorts up to 200 documents per minute – duplex and in color. It easily handles mixed stacks and different document types within one run (US check up to DIN A3). Its automatic document feeder from the stack and its freely accessible paper transport guarantee maximum user-friendliness with low maintenance and service costs. On request, the HEMERA C is also available with additional functions such as bar code capture, pre- and postscan printer, dual stream and much more.
HEMERA S
High-volume document scanner with three sorting trays
This throughput heavyweight with triple sorting is the basis of some of the world’s most powerful and multi-featured solutions in the field of document scanners. Its enormous throughput and high user-friendliness maximize time and cost efficiency in document management.
The HEMERA S scans up to 360 documents per minute, duplex and in color – and then sorts them into up to three trays. It also processes extremely heterogeneous document stacks reliably and smoothly (US check up to DIN A3). The documents are fed in automatically. Its freely accessible paper transport enables basic maintenance work to be carried out without the need for a technician, which significantly reduces the HEMERA S’s total cost of ownership. The HEMERA S is available on request with additional functions such as bar code capture, MICR capture, pre- and postscan printer, dualstream and many more.
HEMERA M
Separation scanner for the preparation of inserting
This high-throughput client separator quickly and accurately separates large volumes of documents to precise specifications, ensuring that the right documents end up in the right envelope.
The HEMERA M processes and separates up to 100 documents per minute. It recognizes individual mandates or addressees according to specifications in QR code or text and separates the associated documents unmistakably using colored separator sheets. The document feed is automatic from the stack. The HEMERA M was developed to prepare large quantities of documents for error-free manual inserting in a time- and cost-efficient manner. Its convenient operator concept, gentle paper transport and high separation accuracy enable smooth inserting processes.
Standard features of the HEMERA M include two ultrasonic double document sensors, fail-safe and energy-efficient LED lighting, and wear-free silicone tires. Optionally, it is available with a touchscreen and printer for automatic address label creation and feeding.
TS 1000
Single-sheet scanner with integrated image processing
This particularly compact and versatile single-sheet scanner is just as convincing as a built-in device as it is as a desktop device. Our customers use it as a terminal device for a wide range of applications. Its robust design also makes it ideal for decentralized use, e.g. for multiple choice, sports betting or recipe capture.
The TS 1000 processes documents from US check format up to DIN A4. The documents are fed manually. An integrated image processing board performs image recognition and image processing directly in the scanner.
The versatile single-sheet scanner can be easily integrated into application-specific systems. It requires very little maintenance and is particularly user-friendly thanks to its simple handling and intelligent operator guidance.
